People and organisations I am proud to be associated with.
The National Association for Bikers with a Disability or NABD is a Registered Charity in the United Kingdom and in Scotland. The NABD gives technical advice and financial grants to help to adapt motorcycles, sidecars and trikes for use by disabled riders. It also gives advice on training and rider assessments
The Motorcycle Action Group (MAG) is a volunteer led riders’ rights organisation that has been building in strength and diversity since it began in 1973. MAG campaigns to protect and promote motorcycling and the interests and rights of all riders, from learner to advanced. We celebrate biking and the freedoms and independence it provides, through our support of parties and rallies, sport and competition, touring and travel.
Squires Cafe Bar was originally known as ‘Squires Milk Bar’ when it first opened back in 1954. Situated in the small town of Sherburn in Elmet in North Yorkshire it quickly became a popular destination for motorcyclists, with many coming from all over Yorkshire, the North of England and all parts of the UK. In 2002 Squires moved to a larger site on the outskirts of Sherburn which further expanded it’s customer base, with people now coming from not only all parts of the UK but from all over the world. Many of the customers from the original cafe still visit us on a regular basis.
